THE FUTURE OF HEALTHCARE

Creative Brief:

Logan’s Role:

CONCEPT, DIRECTOR, EDITOR, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, CLIENT RELATIONS

The client, Performance Bodywork, approached me with this new piece of tech that he had invested in his business and wanted more bookings.

We ended up doing a series of interviews with his clients who have had positive results with the tech and we were able to share some really emotional and compelling stories.

After the stories were launched and targeted to a specific audience through FaceBook advertising the client saw an increase in bookings. In addition to the bookings, Performance Bodywork has hired more employees and is in the process of expanding into a second location.

CANCER-CON OR BUST!

Logan’s Role:
CONCEPT, DIRECTOR, DP, EDITOR

This was one very near and dear to my heart. I was processing the news that my father had been diagnosed with Leukemia. With him being in Wisconsin and me being in Portland I felt rather helpless in being able to assist him in his day-to-day struggles.

This project presented itself to me while I was dealing with this internal conflict and I opted to donate my time to help make this GoFundMe video a success.

Amber has been sick for a long time and as a result she felt alienated among her peers. She was known among her classmates as “The girl who had cancer” and struggled to build genuine connections.

Her goal was to raise funds to attend CancerCon where she could be able to meet and connect with others who have lived through the same internal and social hardships as her. Through strong storytelling and a willingness to open up and share her story, Amber’s crowdfunding was a success and she was able to attend the event.

FLAT-PROOF TIRES

Logan’s Role:
CONCEPT, DIRECTOR, DP, EDITOR

It is not uncommon for River City Bicycles to be one of the first places in the country to receive the coolest and hottest new products. Having a creative crew on call, the client also like to be one of the first outlets to make an announcement via social media. Their social media ads are often released on the same day (or earlier) than the official press release. This was no exception.

We wanted to conceptualize a fun and special way to demonstrate that these tires CANNOT lose air. We opted to throw everything we could at the tires and see them keep their form. We ended the quirky ad with a bit of humor- In this case the “punchline” was what you DIDN’T see.

The project was conceptualized, shot and edited in one day. The ad saw unusually high engagement and gathered over 10K plays in a short amount of time and led to customers coming in and asking about the product.

STUMPJUMPER RE-RELEASE

Logan’s Role:

CONCEPT, DIRECTOR, DP, DRONE, EDIT, MOTION GRAPHICS

The StumpJumper is an iconic bicycle in mountain biking history. It was first released in 1981 and was later discontinued. For the 2019 model year there was planned to be a re-release of the iconic bike which was sure to generate a lot of hype for the platform. This was a great opportunity to be one of the first outlets unveiling the bike.

Our approach was to not get overly technical with details and the technology that made this bike special. The concept that was settled on was to show the bike in a stunning landscape being ridden the way the bike was designed.

In order to meet the release date with the new product there was a quick turn around for this project. The bike arrived on a Friday, principal photography on Saturday, edit on Sunday and was the first video posted when the embargo was lifted on Monday.

The project received a large number of views in a short amount of time and drew lots of attention to the website.
